Happy 2011! :D

I know it's only the 30th of December (the last Thursday of 2010!), but I know many of us are going to be busy tomorrow, preparing for New Year's Eve and all that...

So, I just want to wish everyone a prosperous and happy 2011! :D

I hope 2011 marks a happier and healthier life for everyone! May all our wishes, hopes, and dreams come true this coming year!

Thanks for a wonderful year filled with learning and new friendships, fellow bloggers! :D

Polyvore: New Year's Outfit :D

Hello, everyone! :D

How was your Christmas celebration?

I went to Christmas Eve Mass with my family. Then we ate at midnight (we had beef roast and tons of other yummy food), we opened our gifts, and ate some more. Haha. It was a good Christmas. :D

This is the last week of 2010, it's such a crazy thought!

I've been trying to think of what I am going to wear for New Year's... and putting together outfits is a little bit more fun on Polyvore than in real life. Haha. ;)

Here are two outfits I put together:

I loooooove the dress! I wish I could find something like it. That shade of purple/violet is one of my favorites.

This second set is more casual and comfy:

We can never go wrong with a comfy cardigan-sweater and moccasins. I would add a nice scarf and jeweled headband. :D

Between these two, I would probably go with the second one eventhough I would love to wear that silver dress and purple pumps.

Which one is more your New Year's style?

MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

I most probably won't be able to go on here tomorrow or on Saturday, and I'm sure we will all be busy with our Christmas preparations. So, I would like to do my holiday greetings now. :)

I wish everyone a peaceful and happy holidays!
I hope we all have a fantastic time spending the next few days with our loved ones, our families and friends. :D

Thank you so much to all my blogger friends - for your support and your friendship!

I cannot wait to read all about your holiday celebrations!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

Four days 'til Christmas?! :O

Happy Tuesday, everyone! It's December 21st, and it's four days 'til Christmas. Can you believe it? Seems like just yesterday, I was blogging about how it's the first of December and all that, and now 2010 is coming to an end! Woah, there. :O

Anyway, enough about that... so, how are Holiday preparations going? What are you having for Christmas lunch and/or dinner?

I feel like I haven't been as active here on Blogger as I have always been, but I am really really going to make it up with more future blog posts, and of course by visiting your blogs. I miss you all! I am happy that I was able to blog hop for a good hour. And now, time to put up a new post... but what to talk about? Hmmm, a lot of things came to mind - there's just a lot I want to share with you guys.

So, here is another jumbled post! ;)

Have you seen Nicole Richie's wedding dress? Here it is:

Nicole wore three different dresses on her wedding day. The one pictured here is a Marchesa "ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals".

What do you think of the dress?

I like it, but not as much as I liked Hilary Duff's wedding dress. It reminds me of a Swan Princess inspired ballet costume. I can't see myself wearing it, but it looks great on Nicole Richie. And she looks happy! :D I'm glad she's over her wild days... Paris Hilton should really follow her example.

People has the photos of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's wedding. Perhaps, a wedding post once I find more of them online? :)

Moving on, one of the reasons I haven't been blogging as often as I used to (besides school, of course) is: I've been reading. Haha. Yup.

I read two of Meg Cabot's books:

This one is hilarious! I was laughing throughout the whole thing.

This one is really good too! Not as funny as Boy Meets Girl, but still has funny parts, and the story is "cuter", if you know what I mean. ;)

Have you read these? Any more of Meg Cabot's books I should read?

I got the Killers DVD. I will be watching it tonight. Movie review soon, along with Alice in Wonderland! :D

Have you seen Killers? Thoughts?

More movies...

A lot of my friends are saying Tron: Legacy is good. Have you seen it?

Little Fockers opens tomorrow! :)

I will be writing down all the posts I will be doing in the next few days so I do not forget them and end up with another mixed post. ;)

I haven't done a travel post in a while, another wedding post would be good... What else would you like to see?

Have a great week, everyone!

Rainy Saturday -- jumbled post. :)

Happy Saturday, everyone!

It's been a rainy couple of days for us here in LA, but I am kind of liking it since we rarely get days like this. Perfect weather for just staying in, with a cup of hot chocolate, and DVDs with family and friends. Click the link below to read an article featuring Christmas movies (for people who usually hate them). :D

Thanks to Florine for giving me this link! :)

On my last post, we talked about Hollywood break-ups, but one couple recently got engaged! Tony Romo and Candice Crawford. Yeah, who knew, right?

It's happy news for the couple, but I think it's kinda sad for Jessica Simpson. 24-year old Candice Crawford got the ring Jessica has wanted from Tony for a long time. Sad. I really hope her pending marriage to Eric Johnson works out.

I also found out that Candice is the younger sister of Chace Crawford. Tony Romo and Chace both dated Carrie Underwood. Tony and his future brother-in-law have a common ex-girlfriend. Weird, huh?

Moving on, have you seen the Kardashian-Jenner (and Odom and Disick?) Christmas 2010 card?

Here it is:

Thoughts? Opinions?

*images from Google*

This post is really jumbled... haha. ;)

I know all the Harry Potter hype has died down since it's been a month since the first part of the last two movies came out. Yeah, even I stopped talking about Harry Potter. But here I am again, sharing red carpet photos of the Harry Potter stars from the beginning 'til last month. :D

Christmas Gifts! :D

Hi, how has your week been going? I am hoping it's going well. :D

Ten more days until Christmas, everyone! Yay! :D

School and life has been so busy, I haven't even gotten around to buying my Christmas gifts yet, eeeeeeek! :O Uh-oh... anyone on the same boat as me?

But, anyways, I will get that done before Christmas, for sure (I hope...). For those of you who've gotten your Christmas shopping done, have you thought about how to wrap your special gifts for your loved ones?

I've scanned these pages from a magazine to help us out in wrapping our gifts:

Which of these is/are your style?

I think I would go for those ready-made containers. First, because I am not the craftiest person alive, haha. And second, because those containers will be like a gift too - they can use it for whatever fits their needs. :D

How did or will you wrap your gifts?

------------------------------------

Hollywood news:

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds filed for divorce. They were married for two years.

I think it's sad because I just read Ryan Reynolds' Sexiest Man Alive interview for People where he said that the best thing about being married is spending everyday with your best friend. Awww. But apparently, Scarlett has been unhappy for a long time, and decided to finally file for divorce. :(

While it is definitely sad, I know many girls out there are rejoicing because Ryan Reynolds is single again! Yes, yes, I am one of those girls, hahaha. ;)

Another reason why girls all over the world are celebrating?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens broke-up after five years of being together.

Well, this one, I kinda saw coming. It would've been nice to think they would really last, but I don't know, I just kinda knew they would break up sooner or later. What do you think?

Happy Thursday! :D

Happy Thursday, everyone!

One more day 'til the weekend, we can do this! :D

I got the chance to watch Alice In Wonderland last night, and I liked it! I'm thinking of making a post about it.

This will be a short post for today as I am in the library, and I should be studying and reading stuff... haha. ;)

Here are the songs that have been stuck in my head for quite some time now:

What's My Name? - Rihanna, feat. Drake

and

Please Don't Go - Mike Posner

Which song/s is/are stuck in your head? Watched any good movies lately?

***Oh, and just some news I read on E! today, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married on Saturday at her dad's (Lionel Richie) estate. She is going to wear a Marchesa dress. :D***

Have a good Thursday night and a fantastic Friday, everyone! I will definitely try to set aside some time to visit everyone's blogs tomorrow or this weekend! :D

My recent purchase: Gossip and Forever21

Hello, my dear blogger friends!

I hope your week is going well! :D

But, enough about that, I want to share with you some of my recent buys.

Remember that store called Gossip I featured in one of my older posts?

CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara Review

Hi, everyone! How is your weekend going? :D

Mine is going well - just spending the day hanging out at home. It's kind of gloomy today here in LA - perfect for a DVD marathon! I'm thinking of seeing some of those Christmas movies recommended to me by other bloggers on my previous post. :)

For today, I just want to share with everyone what I think of my new CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara.

Photobucket

$8.39, Ulta

Get a blast of lush, volumized lashes! LashBlast's patented volume-boosting formula and patent-pending brush are designed to max-out each and every lash, leaving you with the ultimate big lash look.

  • Instant volume and fullness
  • Smudge and smear-proof
  • Hypoallergenic and suitable for contact lens wearers

*from www.covergirl.com*

They have it in 4 colors:

Very Black (800), Black (805), Black Brown (810), Brown (815)

The description says it all. This is one of the best mascaras I have ever tried. It makes my lashes look long, and I love the mascara wand!

The day I went to get it, they didn't have the waterproof kind. The good thing about this mascara though, is it doesn't smear and smudge easily. But next time, I will definitely get the waterproof mascara.

Bad things... the price, maybe? It's a little bit pricier than my other mascaras, but for the quality we're gonna get, I think it's pretty much worth it. And I'm not sure, but it should be more affordable at drugstores or maybe Walmart. It has been working well for me, so I am a happy girl. :D

Have you used this mascara? What do you think of it?

Oh, and for my NOTD:

China Glaze - Midnight Mission

I saw this over at Marie's blog - www.allthingsmarie.com. :D

Have you tried this color?

Have a great weekend, everyone!

What's your favorite Christmas movie? :D

Yay for the weekend! :D

My previous post was all about the coming Holiday Season. Thanks for sharing my excitement!

One thing I know almost everyone likes to do once December comes is to watch Christmas movies. Some of the Christmas movies I like are:

1. Love Actually

2. Serendipity

3. The Holiday

4. The Polar Express

5. Home Alone

6. Christmas with the Kranks

7. Holiday in Handcuffs

Another movie I forgot to add is Four Christmases!

Do you like any of these movies? What are your favorite Christmas movies? Any Christmas movies I should watch? :D

*If you want me to do a review on any of this, please let me know.* :)

Have a happy weekend, my loves! :D
